Four PIs (Michael R. WASIELEWSKI, Northwestern University, Illinois - Robert BITTL, Freie Universität Berlin, - Stefano CARRETTA, University of Parma - Roberta SESSOLI, University of Florence) have been awarded with an ERC - Synergy grant.
The ERC-funded CASTLE project aims to leverage the CISS effect in quantum applications, such as quantum computers and quantum sensors. Project findings will also have important implications for catalysis, light harvesting and nuclear magnetic resonance applications.
